About Abbotts Industrial Cooling

Abbotts Industrial Cooling has been keeping Western Australian machinery running since 1972. From our workshop at 19 Kewdale Road, Welshpool, we supply, repair and build radiators, oil coolers, aftercoolers and charge air coolers for the mining, earthmoving, drilling, power generation and transport industries.

We are Western Australian owned and operated, and have been for more than fifty years. Most of our customers are the people who keep WA's heavy fleets working: mine sites, contractors, hire companies and transport operators who cannot afford to have a machine parked up waiting on a cooler.

What we do

Our catalogue covers aftermarket cooling parts for Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Volvo, Sandvik, Epiroc, Atlas Copco, Elphinstone and most other makes found on a WA site. Every part is listed against the machines it fits, by make, model and serial range, and is built to original equipment specifications by Abbotts Approved Suppliers.

When a unit can be saved, our workshop rebuilds it. We clean, descale, recore, retube and pressure test radiators and coolers of every size, from forklift radiators to four-section generator sets, and issue Quality Management System test certification with every job. We are a specialist in MESABI radiator and oil cooler rebuilds, using only genuine MESABI tubes, seals and consumables.

When it cannot be saved, or the machine cannot wait, we hold a large stock of service exchange and recored units for immediate despatch. And when nothing off the shelf will do, we design and fabricate aluminium coolers in house, to any size or configuration.

How we work

Every unit that comes through the door gets a free appraisal and a written quote before any work starts, and we will tell you plainly whether repair, exchange or replacement is the better answer for your situation. Parts we supply are guaranteed for 12 months or 2,000 hours, and all workmanship is guaranteed.

All parts supplied are aftermarket replacement parts and are not manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer. Original equipment part numbers and names are used for reference only.
